Obituary For Judith DeSalvo
Judith “Judy” DeSalvo, 85 a beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, passed away on March 11, 2025. She was born on November 19, 1939, in Covington, KY, Daughter of the late Lloyd and Bertha (nee Hughes) Snodgrass.
Judy devoted her life advocating for children with multiple physical and developmental disabilities. She was a pioneer in advancing education for all. She retired as Executive Director of Citizens Advocacy and continued her consulting work with the Kentucky Department of Education.
Judy had the natural ability to connect with others. She cherished time with family and friends. Until her death, she continued to embody and inspire this spirit in those around her.
Judy is survived by her children Karen (Jody) Williams, Mark (Laura) DeSalvo and grandchildren Michael (Katie) McQueary and Jacob (Jake Cohn) Williams. She was preceded in death by her son Steven Michael DeSalvo and sister Marion (Bob) Hartman.
A visitation will be held at Erlanger Baptist Church on Monday, March 17th, 9:00am- 10:30 am with Service beginning at 10:30am. A private burial at Forest Lawn cemetery will follow. In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to New Perceptions Inc or Hospice Care of St Elizabeth.
May her legacy continue to inspire all who knew her.
