Obituary For Larry Wayne Stone
Larry Wayne Stone, 74, of Union, Kentucky, entered his heavenly home on October 22, 2025. He was born on May 4, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Roy and Mary Stone.
Larry devoted much of his life to working in the health field, among many other endeavors, but his true calling was living out his Christian faith. Larry was a faithful follower of Christ and a Deacon at Union Baptist Church. He trusted in God’s guidance every step of the way and set an example of faith, kindness, and perseverance for all who knew him.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Hope, his children, Stacie (Jeff) Combs and Chad (Kami) Stone, and his beloved grandchildren, Andrew, Robyn, Jacob (Alicia), Chelsea, Brooklynn, Ally, Trent, Savannah, and Mia. He was also blessed to have two great-grandchildren, Adam and Avery. Larry leaves behind a brother, a sister-in-law, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends whose lives he brightened.
Known for his quick wit, unforgettable sense of humor, and unmatched comedic timing-whether intentional or not, Larry brought Joy and laughter to every room he entered. The stories of his jokes, punchlines, and playful spirit are endless and will live on in the memories of those who loved him.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US Hwy 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Gideons International at www.gideons.org, an organization close to Larry’s heart.
Larry’s legacy is one of faith, laughter, and love – a life well lived and deeply cherished.
