Obituary For Lawrence Guttadauro

Lawrence Anthony “Gus” Guttadauro, 87, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, at his home, in Burlington, Kentucky, after a four year struggle with cancer.

Larry was born May 17, 1938 to John Guttadauro and Marcella Guttadauro (nee Egloff). The oldest of two children.

Larry served in the United States Navy from 1957-1961 as a radarman RD2, aboard the USS Navasota AO-106, among other naval ships. Larry worked at the Xerox Corp. beginning in 1963, until his retirement in 1999. Larry married Linda on May 24, 1986, and they have been happily married for 39 years.

He and Linda loved to travel, with several trips to Italy, among other places, many cruises, and they were snowbirds for many winters in Florida. His hobbies included golf, gardening, cooking and baking, computers, and tropical fish. He loved spending time with his family and liked to tease his grandchildren. Hopefully, his “detachable” thumb will be included during the cremation. Larry was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Larry is preceded by his parents; John and Marcella. He is survived by his wife Linda Guttadauro (nee Madden), his sister Judy Greulich (Bob) of Dent, Ohio, his two sons: Mark (Lara) of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, and Dean of Blue Ash, Ohio. His stepson Brian Ruff (Tangie) of Corinth, Kentucky, his stepdaughter Barbara Wells (Randy) of Burlington, Kentucky. His grandchildren, Kierra Guttadauro, Lianne Guttadauro, Daniel Kennedy, Jennifer Ollier (Micah), Jared Kennedy, Dominic Ruff, and great grandchildren, Carter Ollier, Gavinn Ollier, Louis Ruff, Luca Ruff, and Emil Ruff.
