Obituary For Manford J. Stewart

Manford J. Stewart “Big Junior”, 68, of Burlington, passed away on March 16, 2025.

He served his country proudly in the United States Army. After his service, he immediately began his career in trucking and was able to be a human GPS across the entire United States. Big Junior had a lifelong passion for racing, and sports. He could often be found at Florence Speedway or the bowling alley with his family. He spent 11 years coaching peewee football and spending time with his grandkids.

Big Junior is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Margie Stewart, and his children: Junior (Michelle) Stewart, Robby (Lea Ann) Stewart, and Kenny (Ashley) Stewart. He was a proud grandfather to Login, Joey, Macy, Baylee, Piper, Harper, Bobby, Carlee, Hunter, Kaylee, Kelsey, Maria, Azalea, Liam, and Aiden. He is also survived by his brother, Gary (Crystal) Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary K. Stewart, and his beloved son, Joseph Allen Stewart.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Burlington. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 22 at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Burlington at 10:30am. Big Junior Will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery.
