Mary Alice Becker (nee Hoelker), 104, passed away on November 2, 2025 at SEM Haven of Milford, Ohio.

Mary was born in Oldenburg, Indiana on October 19, 1921 to Amanda (Schmidt) Hoelker and Florentine J. Hoelker. She graduated from Brookville High School in 1939. A 1942 graduate of Saint Elizabeth Nursing School, Mary worked as a Registered Nurse at Booth Hospital before retiring from the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport. After retirement, Mary volunteered at St. Catherine of Siena church, where she remained a member until her passing.

Mary was a devoted wife - married to William C Becker on the 25th of November, 1943 - a mother of 4, grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 6, and was anxiously awaiting the birth of her 7th great-grandchild. She enjoyed traveling with the Saint Catherine senior group. One of her favorite trips was visiting Lourdes, France. Mary loved working in her yard and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amanda and Florentine, her husband Bill, her sister Helen Rose Selm, and her step-grandchild James.

Mary is survived by her beloved children: Barbara Carmichael, Joe (Gail) Becker, James (Carol) Becker and John (Dottie) Becker; by her grandchildren (Diane, Sara, Corinne, Abigail, Michael, David, Ben, and Sarah), her great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 11:45 am, Monday, November 10, 2025 at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Fort Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
