Obituary For MIchael A. Hoskins

Michael Antone Hoskins, (fondly known by most as Mike), was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 15th, 1961. He was the 9th of 11 children. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sarah Lee Hoskins and Wendell Robert Tompkins, sisters Carolyn and Mattie, and brothers Wayne, Kenneth and Larry.

Mike is survived by his wife Pamela, their daughter Shamia, son Ralpael, their three grandsons, Tyree, Jalen, Patrick, Reagan, Messiah, Zamere and Zamyah. He also leaves to mourn: sisters Kitty (Jerry) Lee, Sandy Hoskins, Angie (Jerome) Grandison, brothers Tony and Keith, along with two aunts, Nancy Darby and Elizabeth Mullins, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Michael was a self-made man and a hard worker. He retired from KECO Industries after twenty years of service, then worked for White Castles Systems Inc., up to the time of his death, for 24 years. This unique, extraordinary man had the ability to light up any room with his megawatt smile, or even just his raw, unbounded energy. Mike was kind, generous, loving, lovable and truly larger than life; a one-of-a-kind. We all loved his sense of style, i.e. love of clothes, and his passion for music! There will never be another him and he will be sorely missed.

Rest in peace Michael, and thanks for blessing us all while you were here.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 30, 2023 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at Don Catchen & Son Funeral Home, Elsmere. Service will follow at 7:00pm.
