Obituaries

Paula Hutson, 73, of Villa Hills, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center following a brief illness.

Paula was born on September 5, 1949, in Covington, Kentucky to George and Mildred Louise (Hankins) Ellis. She was a master hairstylist and part owner with her sisters in the hair salon, Hair Pros, Florence. Paula was a graduate of Covington Holmes High School, a graduate of the Moler Beauty School and she enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. “Bob” Hutson on December 13, 2011; a daughter, Abby Hutson; and her parents, George and Mildred Ellis.

Survivors include her daughters, Sarah Hutson and Amy Hutson; sisters, Pat Ellis and Janie (Tom) Westerkamp; brother, Don W. (Teresa) Fuller; her furry companions, Jill and Heidi; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 4 at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.
