Obituary For Robert L. Kusak
Robert “Bob” L. Kusak, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. Bob was born on March 12, 1933, to the late Clara Hill in Detroit, MI.
Bob grew up in Michigan and married the love of his life, Peggy Kusak in 1958. They built a wonderful life together and had one son who was the light of their world. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers. Bob adored his grandsons and spending time with his family. He also had a unique hobby for collecting beanie babies which he traveled many places to get. Bob was a wonderful man with a charming personality. He had a way about him that touched so many hearts and lives in his time here, even some of his caregivers and nurses he hadn’t known very long. Bob will be remembered for his great character and huge heart. He will be missed immensely by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bob is preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret “Peggy” Kusak.
Those left here to carry on his loving legacy are his son and daughter in law, Robert “Bob” and Tish Kusak; grandsons, Eric Kusak, Matthew Kusak, and several nieces and nephews.
