Obituary For Sarah Jane Coffey
Sarah Jane Coffey, of Bellevue, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Sarah was born on April 4,1929 to John Coffey and Ella (nee Spille) Coffey.
She excelled in school and in her career where she met a wide circle of friends who remained close to her their entire lives. Sarah and her friends enjoyed traveling together, playing golf and dining at their favorite restaurants. She was an ardent Bengals and Reds fan.
Sarah’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her kindness and generosity touched many lives. Her circle of friends and neighbors enabled her to live independently in her cherished home with security and friendship. She was the family matriarch; her devotion to her niece and nephews and great nieces and nephews would be impossible to exaggerate. Her memory will be cherished for many years.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brother, Jerome Coffey.
She is survived by her niece and nephews, Sharon (Werner Mersch), Mark (Darla), David, John and Patrick (Rainy)
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 28th at Divine Mercy Church, 318 Division St., Bellevue, KY 41073 with a Reception to follow at Charity Hall, 312 Poplar St., Bellevue, KY 41073. A private burial will be held at St. Joseph New Cemetery, Cincinnati at the convenience of the family.
