Obituary For Shane Michael Neaves

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a truly bright light, Shane Michael Neaves, who left this world on January 8th 2026. Born on March 20th 1990 Shane lived a life defined by genuine kindness, unwavering faith, and infectious joy. He was 35 years old.

Shane never met a stranger, only friends he hadn't yet shared a laugh with. His light-hearted nature and brilliant sense of humor could brighten even the darkest of days. He approached every challenge with a chuckle and a positive outlook, leaving a legacy of laughter and resilience for all who knew!

Above all, Shane cherished his family. A beloved brother, son, uncle, friend, he was the heart of our home, filling it with warmth, fun, and unconditional support. He was a constant source of encouragement and pride, leaving behind precious memories of shared moments and deep love.

Shane is survived by his mother; Elaine Neaves, siblings; David (Kelly) Neaves, Stephanie Neaves, and Daniel Neaves, nieces and nephews; William, Ethan, Carlie, Latham, and Chase, as well as many friends who were like family. He is preceeded in death by his father, Gary Neaves.

In lieu of flowers, the Neaves family requests donations be made to the Kenton County Animal Shelter, to continue his legacy of helping others.

Shane's spirit will forever dance in our hearts and his laughter will echo in our memories. May he rest in eternal peace.
