Obituary For Stephen W. Brown

Stephen "Steve" W. Brown, 71, of Ludlow, KY, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY, surrounded by his family. Steve was a devoted machine operator at Kellogg's Bakery, where he dedicated over 15 years of his career. His industrious nature was complemented by his remarkable skills as a talented carpenter, known for his ability to fix anything that needed repair.

Steve's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his family. He is survived by his children, Shawna (Robert T. Eshelman) Brown, Jessica (Mark Etler) Brown, Justin Brown, Kyle (Amanda) Brown, and Keri (Abeer) Brown. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Taylor, Carson, Abram, Jude and Rowan. He also leaves behind his brothers, Robert (Carol) and William Brown, as well as his sister, Sheila (Roy Scalf) Brown. Steve also leaves his Old English Bulldog, Beefy.

In addition to his professional achievements, Steve enjoyed a rich personal life filled with hobbies and interests. He was an avid traveler who loved camping and showed great enthusiasm as a lifelong supporter of the University of Kentucky Wildcats. His passion for music was evident in his love for the Beatles and classic rock, and he cherished the many moments spent watching movies.

Steve was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Sandra Brown, his brother, James Brown, Jr., and his sister, Jeanne Brown.

The visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM to the hour of service at 12:00 PM, all at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm St, Ludlow, KY 41016.

The interment will be at Highland Cemetery, 2167 Dixie Highway, Ft. Mitchell, KY.

Steve W. Brown will be remembered not only for his many talents and accomplishments but also for the love he shared with his family and friends throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
