Obituary For Terrie Rogers

Terrie H. Rogers was born July 3, 1946, in Seattle, WA, passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2025.

Terrie was a strong, loving, and accomplished woman who dedicated her life to both her family and her professional work. She pursued higher education with great passion, earning degrees from Michigan State University, Duke University, and the University of Michigan. Her career was distinguished and impactful, spanning multiple areas within the medical field and research, where she contributed greatly to advancing knowledge and helping others.

Beyond her career, Terrie lived life fully and energetically. She was an avid tennis and golf player, loved walking, and enjoyed the camaraderie of euchre and duplicate bridge.

Her vibrant spirit and warmth earned her many friends across Michigan, Boston, and Kentucky.

Terrie gave generously of her time and talents to a variety of social organizations, always committed to helping others. She had a special dedication to supporting the DCCH Center for Children and Families.

She is survived by her loving son, Jason Rogers, her brother, Ted Hazard, her grandson, Derron Rogers, her daughter-in-law, Saythong Phouasavanh and her son Drake Phouasavanh. Her family and friends will remember her as a woman of strength, kindness, and grace.

Funeral service will be held on September 14 th at Linnemann Funeral Homes at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to DCCH Center for Children and Families in Fort Mitchell, KY.

Terrie’s life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and service. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
