Independence – Thomas Allen Souther, 78 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Tom was born in Covington, Kentucky to his late parents, Orin and Louella Souther. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Souther. Tom is survived by his daughter, Michele Reed (Todd); his son, Jeff Souther; grandchildren, Nathan and Landen Reed; and his sister, Judy Windeler. Tom will be remembered for his love of family and golf. He also enjoyed cooking and watching Western movies on television. Tom quietly and lovingly created opportunities for many needing encouragement and direction in their lives. Friends and family will gather for a visitation, on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Florence Christian Church, 300 Main St, Florence, Kentucky 41042, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Stith Funeral Home is assisting the family.
