Obituaries

Trena Sou King, 62, of Liberty Township, Ohio, was welcomed into the loving embrace of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 26, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Harmon.

She will be greatly missed by her mother, Glenda Harmon. Trena and her husband, Michael King, have three children who will forever cherish her memory: Austin King (Sarah), Jesse King (Courtney), and Tara King-Bryant (Samuel); Trena was the proud and loving grandmother of Lincoln, Adelynn, Finley, Genevieve, Vivienne, Parker, Cohen, and Eleanor, who were truly the light of her life. She treasured every moment spent with them and never missed an opportunity to be present in their lives. She is also survived by her beloved siblings, Deborah Harmon and Thomas Harmon, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Trena will be remembered as a woman of strong faith who deeply loved the Lord. A dedicated minister, she faithfully shared her faith through children’s ministry, outreach, and mission work, touching countless lives along the way. To Trena, her children and grandchildren were everything.

She was also a gifted, artistic soul who found joy in creating art, writing, and listening to music—expressions that reflected her thoughtful, creative spirit.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Church on Fire, 10544 Harrison Avenue, Harrison, Ohio 45030, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A private burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Sunman, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Trena’s name may be made to Heritage Fellowship Church, 7216 U.S. Highway 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042.
