Obituary For Valerie Lynn Bleser
Valerie L. Bleser, 59, of Fort Thomas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was a devoted homemaker who loved her family deeply and cherished any time spent together—whether at holidays, birthdays, or a last-minute gathering. Valerie had a gift for bringing people together. She loved hosting parties, especially when margaritas and Mexican food were involved. She was truly the life of the party, always ready with laughter and a dance. Her family and friends lovingly called her the “Dancing Queen,” inspired by her favorite ABBA song. For many years, Valerie and her husband enjoyed camping at various campsites with family and friends. As an Army spouse for 22 years, she traveled from base to base, embracing each move with strength and warmth. She made many lifelong friendships within the Army community, which became an extension of her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Schomaker; her father, Robert G. Tabor; and her brother, Robert C. Tabor. Valerie is survived by her husband of 40 years and high-school sweetheart, Keith Bleser; her son, Zach (Becca); her daughters, Brittany, Briana, and Bethany; her granddaughter, Jocelyn; her sisters, Danielle and Stephanie; her step-father and step-mother, Steve and Donna Schomaker; step-mother, Mary Tabor; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Fort Thomas. Burial will take place at St. Stephen Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017, or the American Diabetes Association, 10200 Alliance Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242. Online condolences may be shared at dmefuneral.com.
