Virginia Grace Zion, 84, of Bellevue, passed away on October 22, 2025 at the Seasons at Alexandria. Virginia was born in Dayton, Kentucky on September 2, 1941 to Paul and Catherine Cottingham. Virginia married James Zion and together raised three children. She was a devoted homemaker while also working at Lakeside Place as a laundry attendant. Throughout her life, Virginia was very involved in her community. She was an active member in the Bellevue Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, Bellevue Vets, and member of Prince of peace Lutheran Church. Virginia loved taking walks around Bellevue, which she used as her main way of getting around.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Keith Zion, father, Paul W. Cottingham, and mother, Catherine Cottingham. Left to cherish Virginia's memory are her children; Jill (Nancy) Zion, Jason (Kelly) Zion, Janna Wiersma, sisters, Elizabeth Stansel, Paulette Bowling, and Ruth Liley, grandsons; Jason (Shayla) and Noah, great-grandchildren, Grayson, Bodie, and Ellie.
