Obituary For William Michael Anderson

William Michael Anderson, D.M.D., husband of Melissa Beck Anderson, cherished father of Billy Anderson (Jenny) and Krista (Alan Boling), children with Janice Remle Anderson; devoted grandfather of Morgan (Tommy Hemingway), Grace, Sophie, Anna, and Davis and loving great grandfather to Charlie, Teddy, and Sully. He is also survived by his sister, Cookie Westgate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ruth Anderson and brother Bob Anderson. Bill passed away unexpectedly at Citrus Memorial Hospital on Friday, September 29th at the age of 82. Dr. Anderson was born in Cincinnati and graduated from Western Hills High School in 1958, the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy in 1962 and was in the first graduating class of the University of Kentucky’s School of Dentistry in 1966. He loved learning and was the first person in his family to graduate from college. He practiced dentistry in Florence, Kentucky for 54 years until June of 2020 when he and Melissa retired to Inverness, Florida. He was passionate about dentistry, his patients, and friends, but was also an incredible woodworker, an accomplished skydiver, golfer, culinary enthusiast, and enjoyed taking motorcycle trips with his buddies.     I knew Dr. Anderson since I was a child. He was my fathers best friend for about 50 years or more. Dad passed in October of 2021. We just recently learned of Bills passing and are saddened by it. Prayers for the family. Give me a call Melissa. Rest in Peace Bill Wendy Graham 859-250-6210

    Dr Anderson was my first dentist and continued as such until he retired. May he rest in peace, many prayers for his family.
