Yvonne Lynette Hickman (neé: Giles), 52, of Union, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Yvonne was born in Covington, Kentucky to her father, Jerry Giles and her mother, Wanetta Giles (neé: Doolin). She is also preceded in death by her father Jerry Giles, sisters, Michele Hilsercop and Jenna Kilpatrick. Yvonne is survived by her mother, Wanetta Giles, her brother Troy Giles and her children, Nehemiah Hickman (Felicia), Jeremiah Hickman, Kristina Dye (Brendon), Tyler Hickman (Hunter), Zachariah Hickman (Katelyn), and Rebekah Hickman (Matthew Dunbar), Natasha Jett (Anthony); her grandparents, Eugene and Betty Doolin; and her nieces and nephews, Jacob Giles, Brooklyn Kilpatrick, Jazmin Hilsercop, Brandon, Roman and Elizabeth Giles.
Yvonne was popularly know by family and friends as Lynette. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Lynette was a devoted grandmother to 14 grandkids who adored her. She will be remembered not only as loving grandmother but as a source of inspiration for her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of being part of her life. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she gave so generously throughout her life.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US Hwy 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also take place on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Heritage Fellowship Church, 7216 US Hwy 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Hughes Chapel Cemetery, Union, Kentucky.
