Obituary For Zahira Chacon Perez

Zahira Chacon Perez, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Florence, Kentucky on March 4, 2026. Born on March 11, 1977, in Puerto Rico, Zahira carried the warmth of her homeland with her throughout her life. She was known for her infectious happiness and her unwavering ability to care for others, traits that touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A cherished mother, Zahira is survived by her two children, Tiara and Kendall Gonzalez, who were her pride and joy. Her legacy also lives on through her beloved grandchildren: Jabniel, Anderson, Bayron, Keili, Leila, Darla, Xander, and Mateo, who brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Zahira was a devoted daughter to her mother, Raquel Perez, and a supportive sister to Mairim and Ramon, finding strength and connection within her family unit.

Zahira shared meaningful moments with her cousins, Annie and Carlos, who were part of her cherished circle of family and friends. The bonds she formed were a testament to her nurturing spirit, as she always prioritized the well-being of those around her.

A profound source of inspiration for Zahira was found in her faith. She held dear the words of Psalm 91, finding solace and strength in its verses. The message of refuge and trust encapsulated her outlook on life, and she sought to impart that same comfort to others. It was this vibrant faith, coupled with her joyful demeanor, that made her presence a beacon of hope and love for many.

Zahira's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her joyful spirit and caring heart will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her. She will be deeply missed, yet her memory will continue to inspire kindness and compassion in our lives.

Services are pending and will be announced at a later date.
