Kentucky Colonels executive to speak at Florence Rotary Club on Monday, public welcome to register

Kentucky Colonels Executive Director Sherry Crose will speak to the Florence Rotary Club on Monday.

Crose will be speaking about the history and traditions of the Kentucky Colonels, one of Kentucky’s highest honors, recognizing individuals for service, leadership, and goodwill. Behind the organization is a mission of charitable giving and community impact that seeks to strengthen lives across the state.

Crose will address ways Kentucky Colonels can become involved through local chapters and volunteer opportunities and the last impact of the organization statewide.

Crose brings a remarkable career in tourism, public affairs, nonprofit leadership, and Kentucky heritage preservation to her role. A graduate of The Ohio State University and former executive leader of the Kentucky Derby Museum, she now leads an organization representing more than 30,000 Kentucky Colonels.

Her extensive leadership background includes work with the Kentucky Travel Industry Association, DonorForum of Louisville, and numerous civic and tourism organizations throughout the region.

The meeting will be held at the Northern Kentucky Area Development District. Doors open at 11:45 a.m. and the meeting starts promptly at noon.
