NBC News is reporting that 29-year-old Stephanie Shults of Lexington may be among the casualties of the deadly blasts in Brussels.
Both Stephanie and her husband, Justin, are unaccounted for and do not appear on any casualty list, the report said.
Justin, 30, is originally from Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
The couple moved to Brussels in 2014. Both are accountants.
They were reportedly on their way back to their parked car after dropping off Stephanie’s mother at the airport. The mother was headed to security when the blast happened.
NBC reported that the family is in touch with the U.S. Embassy in Brussels and that Stephanie’s employer, food giant Mars, is also involved in the search.
At least eight Americans were believe injured in the attacks, NBC reported.
