People in the News: Taylor, Nields joining state UW board; KYTC’s Fields recognized as associate of year


Two NKyians join state United Way board

Angie Taylor, retired v.p. of Workforce Solutions at Gateway, and Rosanne Nields, a v.p. at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, have been named to the board of directors of United Way of Kentucky.

They are two of six new board members for UWKY.

Taylor retired from Gateway Community and Technical College last summer. She launched a career coaching service and is a consultant for the Nay Chamber Advanced Manufacturing Coalition. She also serves as secretary for Welcome House and has served with the United Way of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Rosanne Nields

Rosanne Nields is vice president for Planning and Government Relations for St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She has served on the Regional Public Policy for United was of Greater Cincinnati and as chair of the Kentucky Public Policy Committee. She is also involved with Habitat for Humanity.

Nathan Fields is KATE Associate of the Year

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) employee Nathan Fields was recognized as the 2016 Associate of the Year at the 46th annual Kentucky Association of Transportation Engineers (KATE) meeting.

Fields was nominated by Branch Project Delivery and Preservation Branch I Manager Rob Franxman. He was selected by a panel of KATE board members for his efforts and efficiency in supervising several construction projects in Northern Kentucky the previous year.

Some of Fields’ career highlights include supervising various road and bridge projects across northern Kentucky, such as the inspection of the $36 million I-275 rehabilitation project in Campbell County and the $10 million rehabilitation of the John A. Roebling Bridge in Kenton County.

Fields is a Transportation Engineer Tech III for District 6 and has been with the Cabinet for 20 years. He is a lifelong resident of Pendleton County and currently resides in Butler.
