Republic Bank offering free financial literacy class for women Tuesday; ‘Power Up’ for money management


Power to Exhale, a women’s empowerment group out of Louisville, is hosting a free financial literacy class for women at Republic Bank’s Covington Branch on Tuesday, June 7th from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
 
The class will cover three major topics; budgeting, homeownership and credit, and investing. This training class is part of Power to Exhale’s new arm of the organization called “Power Up University”. Power Up University’s goal is to help women reach their full potential through training in the areas of nutrition and exercise, emotional intelligence, financial literacy and life skills.

Local financial experts Christine Luken, Dave Schneider, and Darren Wurz are presenting at the class. Christine Luken is a financial coach, teacher and writer. She is also a Dave Ramsey Certified financial coach and a member of the Financial Therapy Association.
 
Darren Wurz is a principal with Fortune Financial Services. He advises businesses and individuals on saving, investing and all aspects of Wealth Management.

Dave Schneider is Republic Bank’s Mortgage Loan Officer. Schneider has extensive Northern Kentucky real estate experience and is active in the Covington business community.
