Delta Air Lines has experienced a power outage in Atlanta, which has impacted operations worldwide, including the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Travelers should anticipate flight delays and widespread cancellations.
Update: A Delta ground stop has been lifted and limited departures are resuming. Delta has also published a waiver for customers traveling on Aug. 8 through Aug. 12 (see details below).
Delta has canceled approximately 300 flights due to a power outage impacting Delta operations systemwide. As of 10:30 a.m. ET, Delta operated 800 of its nearly 6,000 scheduled flights. While systems are improving and flights are resuming, delays and cancellations continue.
