There are still tickets available for the 29th Annual Boone County Senior Citizen’s Picnic.
The picnic will take place at the Boone County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, September 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The popular event draws a large crowd every year.
This year’s theme is “A Day at the Beach,” Senior Picnic 2016.
All Boone County residents age 60 or older are encouraged to attend.
Tickets are $6 (cash only) and are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Boone County Administration Building at 2950 Washington Street in Burlington. Tickets may be purchased at the Finance Office on the 2nd floor.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are limited to four per person.
