Thomas More Men’s Basketball team to host first responders, military personnel, others Nov. 30


The Thomas More College Men’s Basketball Team will show its support to all first responders, military personnel and scouts at its home game against Grove City on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m.

tmc-saintsAs a way to say thank you for all they do, all public servants and their guests will be admitted free.  The first 200 public servants through the doors will also receive a free camouflage hat with the TMC logo.

The Saints, who are the preseason favorites in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC), enter the Thanksgiving weekend with a 2-1 record following a 2-0 week at the Coach Jim Connor Classic.

Thomas More has a +13.0 scoring margin as it averages 84.7 points per game, while giving up 71.7 points per game.  The team is shooting 47.8 percent from the field as it’s connected on 96-of-201 shots from the floor.  Sophomore forward Ralph Stone, from Shelbyville, leads the team in scoring and rebounds as he averages 16.3 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
