Behringer-Crawford Museum’s Archaeology Camp: “Digging Into The Past” will take place June 12-14.
June 6 is the last chance to register.
The camp is a week’s worth of fun and adventure for kids aged 11 to 15. Explore an old home site in Devou Park and learn about the people who once lived there. Examine animal skeletons to discover who ate what. Use GPS and other mapping apps to find your way around. Wash and sort artifacts and create an archaeological exhibit.
The camp takes place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
The cost is $190 for members; $240 for future members.
Register by June 6 at 859-491-4003.
See the BCM’s list of summer camps that include garden camps and “grand camps.”
