Key Geiger and Bill Butler

In his introduction, Bill Butler, Chairman and CEO of Corporex, said that “Kay Geiger advances a challenge about who we, as a community and region, ought to be in our future. Her thought process is always deeply rooted in a core caring for no other reason than making a difference for the good of the whole. This is what distinguishes her.”

Upon receiving the award, Geiger said “I want to challenge each of us to continue in our everyday actions to really work to be focused on uniting together so that others want to call us home”. She also shared “Fredrik Nael said it takes both sides to build a bridge…so I’m going to ask, how many bridges have you built? We will do more than talk, we will act because we are stronger together than divided. It is our time”.
