Alsco Inc., a worldwide leader in the rental of linen, uniforms, healthcare garments, and washroom services and products, celebrates its third consecutive year as the title sponsor of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco 300 at Kentucky Speedway.
The green flag drops on Friday, July 13.
“Alsco is an international industry leader providing us with great uniforms, hygiene supplies, and floor mats. They also are an experienced marketer in NASCAR and have raised the profile of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco 300 through innovative marketing, fan promotions, and business-to-business opportunities,” said Kentucky Speedway general manager Mark Simendinger. “They have become an indispensable member of our sponsor lineup, and our fans continue to see the benefits of this tremendous relationship.”
With the addition this year of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco 300 that was held at Charlotte Motor Speedway over Memorial Day weekend, Alsco is one of only two companies to serve as entitlement sponsor of multiple Xfinity Series events.
In addition to sponsoring the race, Alsco will leverage its partnerships with VF Imagewear and Richard Childress Racing to serve as the primary sponsor of the #3 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Ty Dillon for the Alsco 300.
Alsco is also a sponsor of the #21 Chevrolet Camaro, fielded by Richard Childress Racing and driven by Daniel Hemric, in the Xfinity Series, as well as the #43 Chevrolet Camaro, driven by Bubba Wallace for Richard Petty Motorsports, in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
“Alsco is proud of its significant presence in NASCAR,” stated Jim Divers, Alsco’s director of sales and marketing. “We knew this was a good space to be in, as NASCAR fans are the most loyal in all of sports. We’ve received tremendous feedback and support from our sponsorship partners, employees, customers and prospects. We provide them with over 1,500 tickets to the race, where we also have displays, games, giveaways, and tours. Some travel to Kentucky from as far away as Honolulu! It’s an enjoyable time for everyone.”
Alsco is a fourth-generation, family-owned-and-operated business, founded in 1889. Alsco provides linen and uniform rental services to customers that include restaurants, healthcare, automotive industry and industrial facilities. With over 170 locations, Alsco provides world-class service to over 350,000 customers in 14 countries.
The expanded relationship between Alsco and Speedway Motorsports, Inc. (SMI)—that owns both Kentucky Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway—has already benefitted both companies and their respective partners.
“We are very excited about the additional partnership opportunities with our friends at Alsco in 2018 and beyond,” said John Cox, vice president of business development at SMI Corporate. “As we grow together and increase our knowledge of Alsco’s visions and goals, it allows us to provide additional business-to-business platforms for Alsco and other SMI partners. We succeed when our partners do business with each other, and we take great pride in facilitating that process.”
