The Northern Kentucky Chamber Women’s Initiative will host a special Connecting Shore to Shore from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, June 25, at Carnegie Hall at Newport (401 Monmouth St., Newport, KY 41071).
The annual women-only event brings women from all over the region together for an evening of networking and professional development.
While networking with other professional women, attendees will have the opportunity to speak to representatives from a range of professional services companies including Addiction Services Council, Comey & Shepherd, Financial Lifeguard, Health Connection Direct Primary Care, High-Heeled Success, Shared Wellness, the Northern Kentucky Chamber Women’s Initiative, and Woodhouse Day Spa.
Additionally, Kay Fittes from High-Heeled Success will share proactive steps to peak performance for young professionals, mid-career women, and seasoned professionals. Fittes, a Certified Trainer with a Credential for Leadership Training, has served as a consultant and presenter to groups from Ethicon, IBM, General Electric, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and the Ohio Department of Education.
“Shore to Shore is an impactful way for women from both sides of the river to come together to pause on purpose, connect with each other, and grow professionally,” said Karralea Stickrod-List, President and CEO of the Décor Group of Northern Kentucky and Women’s Initiative CONNECT Chair.
Registration is required for Connecting Shore to Shore and is $35 for Northern Kentucky Chamber Members and $50 for future members and includes appetizers and one drink ticket. Those interested in attending can register online at www.nkychamber.com/events, or by contacting Gina Bath at gbath@nkychamber.com or (859) 578-6384.
In addition to networking, organizers will be collecting donations for the Addiction Services Council, an organization that works to reduce problems related to alcoholism and other drug addiction through the delivery of treatment and prevention services. The Council has a wide range of programs that serve children, adolescents, families, women, older adults, and persons with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders.
