The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Northern Kentucky will hold its annual walk supporting mental health services Saturday, October 15, in Covington’s Pioneer Park.
The Steps Against Stigma walk will raise funds to support the NAMI’s free services for families, friends, caregivers, and those suffering from mental illness throughout the Northern Kentucky region.
Walker registration is now available online at the Steps Against Stigma website.
In-person registration and check-in will be available the day of the event beginning at 9 a.m. at the park, located at 3952 Madison Pike (KY-17) in Covington. The walk begins at 10 a.m. The park is wheelchair accessible and pet friendly.

NAMI NKY — one of 600 local affiliates — offers free support meetings for the over 95,000 people — one in five — affected by mental illness living in the nine counties in Northern Kentucky region.
NAMI NKY works closely with the Northern Kentucky Crisis Intervention Team to help those struggling with mental illness find services and reduce arrests.
