Whether you’re a seasoned artist or someone looking to explore that side, Artmarkit provides the resources and support needed to bring your artistic visions to life. It is a space for everyone with no age restrictions or exclusions.

“Our youth are hungry for spaces outside of school and home to be creative and connect with knowledgeable mentors,” said Katie Kit Threet, founder of Artmarkit. “The community is seeking ways to connect and create together, and Artmarkit is here to fulfill that need.”

The founder’s background in art education (seven years as a public school teacher with Covington Independent Public Schools) and her passion for community connection drive the mission of Artmarkit to be Covington’s art classroom and creative sanctuary.
