New Perceptions receiving complete kitchen, breakroom renovation, thanks to generous grants

Thanks to several area grantors, New Perceptions is getting a complete kitchen and breakroom renovation. From new flooring, cabinets, tables and chairs, to refrigerators, ice machines, and even garbage cans, participants, staff, and guests will have a clean, welcoming, refreshed place to gather.

“New Perceptions strives each day to provide the best opportunities to our participants for them to achieve their greatest potential,” said Shawn Carroll, Executive Director.

“We are excited that we can provide them with an awesome new space where they can bond, relax, and have fun.”

The entire renovation is supported through grants from Robert H. Reakirt Foundation, PNC Bank, Trustee, The Spaulding Foundation, Elsa M. Heisel Sule Foundation, The
Sutphin Family Foundation, and New Perceptions employees through their Employee Giving Campaign.

“We are so appreciative of the community’s support for this project. If not for our wonderful grantors and employees, we wouldn’t be able to provide a space like this for our participants,” said Emily Prabell, Director of Development and Community Relations.

New Perceptions will be celebrating its 65th birthday this month.
