For the fifth year, the Rotary Club of Covington is sponsoring a Covington school student to participate in Rotary International’s Youth Exchange.
The club will be selecting a student for departure in the fall of 2018, and any Covington high school student may apply for this scholarship. See your school’s guidance counselor.
The 2017 recipient, Micah Gray, will spend nine months in school in the Czech Republic.
Micah is the son of Joe and Sheila Gray, and a recent graduate from Covington Latin.
He left in mid-August 2017 and will return in the spring.
Gray will be living with a host family in the Czech Republic and will be involved in Rotary events there.
The Covington Rotary club pays all expenses for the exchange and does this to promote peace and good will in the world.
