Battaglia selections for Saturday, Feb. 3
RACE 1
COOPER’S KEEPER loves this track and appears to be in a good spot for the win. ALWAYS LOVE APRIL has been off since May but has been training well and drops in class. WILLIN’ GRACE rates a chance.
RACE 2
GIANT RED drops back to the bottom and looks best at this level. PRIVATE SPOT has the speed to be on or near the lead and is the one to catch. IN FOCUS also takes the class drop and LeBron picks up the mount.
RACE 3
THE GORILLA MAN was beaten as the favorite last out but would like to move back to a mile and a quarter and looks best for maker and LeBron. FEET’S AFIRE is good right now and has the speed to be on or near the lead. He is definitely the one to catch. TIZ SARDONIC JOE loves this track.
RACE 4
BARRISTER JIM comes out of three solid races over this track and looks best in this bottom claimer. TACHI will be running at the end and has to be respected. MUNTIJ is a threat with Franklin back aboard.
RACE 5
ROARIN MISSILE comes off of a solid effort in Chicago and has a win over this track give him the edge.KOWBOY KODY just missed last time out and figure to be tough off of that effort. SAINT’S BRO drops in class and has the speed to be dangerous.
JOOPSTER was a beaten favorite last out the drops in class and should handle this bunch. STONEWALL BOY also ran poorly last out but has the speed to be dangerous. RED ALERT beat the top pick last out and has to be considered.
RACE 7
HEAT ROAD comes off a sharp score and is in a good spot to make it to in a row. RABANITO takes the class drop and will be running at the end. TWO IF BY SEA is a contender.
RACE 8
CAUSE ME GRIEF was second in her debut and should move forward off of that effort. CASH REGISTER figures to be the main competition. LADY MAUKETTE drops in class and definitely fits in here.
RACE 9
PRINCE HANSEN was a game winner two starts back and just a bit overmatched last out. Look for him to return to his winning ways tonight. MOOOSE figures to be on or near the lead through out and is definitely the one to catch. NORTH ELKHORN looks best of the rest.
RACE 10
ELOQUENT MOMENT drops in class and hooks a weak field. His best makes him a winner tonight. WW ACE’S UP will be running at the end and figures to be the main competition. PERSONAL CAT is a contender if she draws in.
