Volunteers of Scarf It Up For Those In Need will be participating in the World Wide Knit in Public day on Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Joseph-Beth Booksellers, Crestview Hills Town Center, 2785 Dixie Highway, Crestview Hills.
The World Wide Knit in Public Day began in 2005 as a way for knitters to come together and enjoy each other’s company.
World Wide Knit in Public Day is unique, in that it is the largest knitter run event in the world.

Scarf It Up For Those in Need will be organizing volunteers to participate in an effort to generate the much needed handmade scarves for the poor and needy in Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area. Scarf It Up For Those In Need is a non-profit organization which provides handmade scarves to inner city youth, homeless, the elderly and others in need.
It is a 100% volunteer organization. Scarf It Up For Those In Need began in 2003 and dispersed 500 handmade scarves. In 2014, the organization distributed over 11,000 scarves, along with hats and gloves, to agencies who serve the poor and needy in Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area.
