Jenna Mummert and Emily Mohs combined for 22 kills Thursday night as the Thomas More University volleyball team cruised to a 25-5, 25-15, 25-13 victory over Franklin (Ind.) at the Connor Convocation Center.
Mummert hammered down 11 kills, served up three aces and attacked at a .476 clip for Thomas More, which improved to 18-1. Mohs also tallied 11 kills and hit .478 as the Saints attacked at a torrid .370 clip to sweep past the visiting Grizzlies.

Krumpelman hit .389 for the match, while teammates Carlee Lambert and Abby Schutte each finished with four kills and attacked at .667 clips. Jessica Ginn anchored the defense and collected a team-leading 20 digs.
Thomas More started quickly, attacking at a blistering .619 clip in the opening set to roll to a 25-5 win. The Saints recorded 14 kills in 21 attempts with just one error in the first set.
The Saints have now won 19 consecutive matches at home dating back to the 2016 season. A year ago, Thomas More posted a 10-0 record at the Connor Convocation Center. The Saints have not lost at home since Sept. 21, 2016, when Hanover pulled out a five-set victory in the Connor Convocation Center.
Thomas More plays host to Centre (Ky.) to Crestview Hills on Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. The Saints then hit the road for a tournament in Michigan, where top-ranked Calvin (Mich.) is hosting a two-day event Oct. 12-13.
Thomas More will meet Calvin at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 in the finale of that tournament.
Thomas More has defeated four nationally ranked teams this season, including a sweep of then-No. 12 Hope (Mich.) last Saturday. The Saints, who won the Presidents’ Athletic Conference championship last season, are competing as NCAA Division III independents this fall.
A year ago, Thomas More finished with a 29-6 overall record. The Saints posted an 18-0 mark in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
