Florence Freedom Military Appreciation Night: Funds to Wounded Warriors, free military tickets

The Florence Freedom will host their annual Military Appreciation Night on Sunday, July 5 at 6:05 p.m. The event is presented by Jim Beam Kentucky Fire and Cincinnati State Veteran Student Affairs.

Thanks to the Freedom’s partners in the community local military members and their families can attend the game for free by emailing the Freedom.

Before the game, fans can play catch on the field from 5:05 p.m. (when the gates open) until 5:30 for $5. All proceeds from “catch for a cause” will go to the USO. Another reason to arrive early is that the first 1,000 fans through the gates receive a team photo thanks to Vintage Business Solutions.

During the seventh inning stretch, the Freedom will call on all active and retired military men and women to come down to the field to be honored for their service to our country.
