BB&T Summer Celebration to feature plenty of family-friendly activities

COV200, the volunteer group behind Covington’s upcoming BB&T Summer Celebration, has planned many activities for children during the upcoming six-day celebration in Covington leading up to one of the biggest baseball games in America.

Hosted along the banks of the Ohio River, children will have the opportunity to participate in free activities within the Duke Energy Kids Activity Tent. More than a dozen local organizations have come together to provide myriad activities including face painting, brain games, book giveaways, a scavenger hunt, fossil dig, drum workshop and more.
