Kentucky Speedway’s three-race NASCAR weekend will feature 925 miles of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, XFINITY Series and Camping World Truck Series.
Race fans will be able to cheer on their favorite driver with a green Quaker State rally towel Saturday when NASCAR’s elite drivers compete on the 1.5-mile tri-oval in the Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts.
“The Quaker State 400 is the premier racing event at Kentucky Speedway, attracting fans from across the country to see their favorite drivers battle in the coveted nighttime race,” said Mark Simendinger, Kentucky Speedway general manager. “Quaker State recognizes this fan loyalty and plans to honor it by creating exclusive, interactive experiences for them at the Speedway this year.”
The rally towels will be available at Speedway gates on Saturday, the Quaker State 400 race day.
The AeroShell Aerobatic team is set to provide a unique introduction to Jerrod Niemann’s pre-race performance when planes carve the Turn 2 skies with an exhibition that takes flight at 5 p.m. The longest-flying civilian aerobatic team in North America delights audiences by reeling off tricks in four iconic red-white-and-black AT-6 Texans, often amid billowing smoke. Three decades of renowned airmanship propelled the team to induction in the International Council of Air Shows Foundation Hall of Fame in 2014.
Keith Sayers Freestyle Motocross riders will entertain guests with a combined eight performances on the track’s concourse between Gate 18 and Gate 20 Friday and Saturday. Sayers began racing motocross at age 12 in 1995 and performing freestyle shows two years later. He and his team have performed at some of America’s most notable venues.
