Braxton Barrel House, a taproom and brewery, to open September 27 at Remke’s Plaza in Ft. Mitchell


Braxton Brewing Co. is opening its newest taproom and brewery in Fort Mitchell, in part of the space that was Remke’s Market at the corner of Dixie Highway and Orphanage Road.

The Braxton Barrel House will be dedicated to barrel-aged beer and the extensive bourbon heritage found throughout Kentucky.

It will offer a brand new experience for patrons by giving them the opportunity to try a unique selection of barrel-aged beers.

They also are rolling out the nation’s first Private Barrel Program for barrel-aged beer.

At the grand opening guests will be able to enjoy live music and local food options to pair with their favorite Braxton beers.

The Braxton Barrel House is a prime way to celebrate Kentucky’s rich bourbon culture while continuing to create the unique experiences for which the brewing company is known.

The 2,000 square foot loading dock has been redeveloped with large glass garage doors and a spacious outdoor patio. Inside, guests will find a taproom with 20 beers on draft.

The 20,000 square-foot warehouse under the main floor will house a variety of wooden barrels for aging beer.
