Northern Kentucky University and partners WLWT-TV, NKY Chamber, St. Elizabeth Healthcare and Duke Energy will host the final Kentucky Gubernatorial Debate tonight in NKU’s Student Union.
The debate between Gov. Matt Bevin and Attorney General Andy Beshear is at 7-8 p.m. and the fifth televised debate in a series that has been held around the Commonwealth.
WLWT will televise the debate live.
WLWT Anchor and NKU Alumna Sheree Paolello, ’96, serves as the debate moderator.

The format will consist of opening statements, followed by questions from the moderator, rotating between the candidates. The debate will conclude with closing statements from each candidate.
Everyone entering the ballroom is subject to a security check including bag searches. Audience reaction should be kept to a minimum and there will be no protests or disruptions allowed.
Protestors must keep to a designated area outside the venue.
Free tickets for the debate will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis when doors open at 5 p.m.
Once all the Student Union Ballroom tickets have been distributed, guests will be directed to overflow spaces on campus to view the live debate broadcast.
Attendees are asked to take their seats by 6:30 p.m.
Complimentary parking is available in the Kenton Avenue Garage.
