Season tickets for the 2015-16 men’s and women’s basketball campaigns are available for purchase. Several options exist to catch the 14 regular-season and one exhibition home men’s basketball contests and 17 women’s games, all of which will be held in BB&T Arena.
Horizon League rival Wright State and in-state rival Morehead State are two of the opponents that highlight the men’s basketball schedule. The Norse and Raiders meet in a 1 p.m. matinee on Jan. 9, while the Eagles will head to BB&T Arena on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
NKU will also welcome league tournament champion and NCAA Tournament participant Valparaiso (Jan. 24) to campus and Horizon League regular-season champion Green Bay (Feb. 4) to Highland Heights.
The Norse also square off with the Cleveland State Vikings in a Jan. 16 showdown. Fellow Horizon League members Youngstown State, UIC, Oakland, Milwaukee and Detroit will also play at BB&T Arena this year.
Pricing for men’s basketball season tickets is set at $140 for adults and $126 for NKU faculty or staff. Additional special pricing options exist for new alumni, first-time alumni buyers and youth ages 13-17.
A Dec. 2 showdown with Kentucky highlights an NKU women’s basketball schedule that features several nationally prominent programs.
BIG EAST member Marquette comes to BB&T Arena on Nov. 21. NKU defeated Marquette, 77-68, last season in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Green Bay, which has won outright or shared 17-straight regular-season Horizon League Championships, will face the Norse at home on Jan. 21.
New league-rival Wright State also comes to Highland Heights in a rematch from last season. In addition to the Phoenix and Raiders, NKU will host the other seven Horizon League schools – Valpo, UIC, Milwaukee, Detroit, Oakland, Youngstown State and Cleveland State.
Women’s basketball season tickets are $60 per seat for adults. NKU faculty/staff, Youth 13-17 years old and new alumni (2013-15 graduates) can also purchase season tickets at special pricing.
Youth 12 and under receive free admission to all NKU regular-season home game with a Norse Kids Club membership.
