On Tuesday, December 15, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce will present Eggs ‘N Issues: Common Core from 7:30-9 a.m. at The Metropolitan Club in Covington.
Since academic standards are a divisive issue in our region and across the nation, the Chamber welcomes experts from both sides of the debate for an in-depth discussion of the wisdom and effectiveness of these standards.
Scheduled to speak are Brigitte Blom Ramsey with the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence and Richard Innes with the Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions.
Pat Crowley with Strategic Advisers will moderate the discussion.
The cost to attend the event is $20 for NKY Chamber members and $40 for future Chamber members.
