Northern Kentucky based manufactured housing company, SSK Communities, has acquired 1,100 home sites in two major developments in Evansville, Indiana. The acquisitions represent the sixth and seventh manufactured housing developments the company owns in Indiana and the first in the Evansville area. Earlier this year, SSK acquired a major park in Owensboro, on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River near Evansville. The company now owns and operates 31 communities throughout Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. SSK Communities celebrated its 20th year anniversary in 2015.
“We are proud to be part of the Evansville community and look forward to meeting all of our new residents in the two communities,” said SSK Partner, Nathan Smith. “In 2016 we will be upgrading these communities including newly renovated clubhouses, playgrounds for children and on-site community managers.”
Both of the communities will receive new names, Waterford Pointe, located at 2448 Saw Grass is the former Eastbrook Manufactured Housing Park. The second park will be named Grandin Pointe, formerly known as Westbrook Manufactured Housing Park. Grandin Pointe is located just west of Route 57 south of I-64. Waterford Pointe is located on the east side of Evansville near I-69.
With 31 communities in three states, SSK is ranked among the top 30 in the country with 6,800 homes in their properties’ portfolio. SSK Communities is among the upper tier in the market and among higher-end mobile home properties in the various geographic markets.
The company completed two previous acquisitions this year in Campbell County and Owensboro Kentucky. The company offers modern manufactured housing units that are spacious, energy-efficient with open floor plans—with truly the feel of a comfortable modern home.

Nathan Smith recently ended his term serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Manufactured Housing Institute, a 300-member industry trade organization and is past president of the Kentucky Manufacturing Housing Institute. He currently chairs the Board of Regents at Northern Kentucky University and sits of the Board of Directors of the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).

SSK has been known to offer great deals to low income families. They take your large deposit, several monthly payments then evict the family for bs reasons just to rent (never sell) their home all over again. This way they get large sums upfront + several times more than they would earn just for simple lot rent..
Big scammers and if you google SSK or yougothomes you’ll see they are finally getting sued. It took a news station to bust them because our cops are too lazy to investigate now days..But these jerks are going to get theirs soon regardless. Thieves!

How do I get a hold of the corporate office for these people they are the worst to rent from I own my home my water and sewer has never been over 100 each now my water is almost $130.00 and just my sewer alone is over $500.00
The Worst company. The trailers have black mold, the roofs leak, duct work torn up with no heat or a/c, they don’t repair anything. They Make Up water bills and charge ridiculous amounts $130+ for one person. They raised our rent $89.00 per month in less than 5 years. They Sell homes to people and then Evict them for no reason and then Sell their homes, Over and Over and Over. These people are Ruthless and Greedy. They treat their tenants like Trash. DO NOT MOVE INTO ANY IF THEIR PARKS!!
