Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center will host garden designer Jennifer Smith for a talk on women and the history of gardening March 26.

From America’s first garden clubs to the Land Army of World War I, to school gardens, an early garden devoted to native plants, to landscapes and gardens designated for industry moguls and presidents, women have been blazing a trail in garden and landscape design. Find inspiration from these impressive women in garden and landscape history.
Smith is an award-winning pollinator garden designer and frequent speaker on a wide range of garden topics from garden design to the history of gardening.
