The Clem and Ann Buenger Boys and Girls Club has long served the young people of Newport, and the completed renovations provide a more modern, welcoming and functional environment for academic support, mentorship, workforce readiness and recreational programming. The updated facility will allow BGCGC to expand opportunities for the young people it serves while strengthening its impact within the local community.

“This renovation reflects our commitment to ensuring every child has access to a safe, inspiring place to learn and grow,” said Bill Bresser, the CEO of Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati. “We are proud to continue investing in Newport and grateful to the partners who made this possible.”

The ribbon-cutting event began with a coffee hour, followed by remarks from BGCGC leadership and community stakeholders before the official ribbon cutting. Attendees then toured the updated facility, experiencing firsthand the enhancements designed to better serve local youth. The celebration brought together donors, elected officials, community leaders and supporters, all united in their commitment to expanding opportunities for the next generation.
