Florence blood drive

The City of Florence is proud to host a community blood drive on Thursday, May 28. The event will take place at the Florence Government Center, 8100 Ewing Blvd., Florence, with the donor bus stationed near the north parking lot.

The blood drive will be held in two time slots from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

To encourage community participation, all donors will receive a FC Cincinnati 40 oz tumbler. To streamline the process and ensure a smooth experience, donors are strongly encouraged to schedule appointments online through Hoxworth at the provided link – https://hoxworth.org/groups/florence or by calling their dedicated phone number at (513)451-0910.

New Allegiant flight

Allegiant has started service from Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Santa Ana, California.

Park Hills Auctioning a residential plot
 
The City of Park Hills is auctioning off a plot of residential land that is 7,731 sq. ft., located at 1094 Wald Court, 41011.

This online auction is open to the public at municibid.com and ends Thursday, May 28. The public is able to bid in this government auction online, 24/7, on Municibid. 
 
Why is this auction important? All of the proceeds from this auction are going right back into improving the City of Park Hills’s local community. These funds can be used for road maintenance, setting up local events for residents, community programs, public safety initiatives, and more. Utility easements of record are sewer and any other on record.
 
There is a 9% buyer’s fee. Bidding is currently underway.

Kenton County water main extension

The Northern Kentucky Water District and Kenton County Fiscal Court will celebrate the near completion of the Subdistrict O Water Main Extension Project May 27 at 10:30 a.m.

The event will be held at 15400 Planstiehl Road in Morning View, at the intersection with Fiskburg Road.

The $4.8 million project included the construction of 4 miles of new water main, increasing access to public water to 61 additional households in Kenton County.
