Baker Hunt and Read Ready Covington are inviting residents to a FREE art and story time, starting Thursday June 18 at 10 a.m.
Children ages 4-6 (and siblings) will enjoy a different book each week, read by a guest storyteller, then have a fun time making themed art with a Baker Hunt instructor.
The reading session will end with play time outside (weather permitting).
Read Ready Covington is a city-wide early literacy initiative, offering all residents access to diverse resources and information to use at home and on-the-go.
WHY? Families and our community need to better prepare little ones with the early experiences they need to be ready for kindergarten to continue being successful through their school years.

The Thursday 10 a.m. Art & Storytime sessions will continue through July 30 (except July 2). A different book will be read each week.
