Sunday was practice day at the USA State Summer Games at the University of Minnesota for Team Kentucky with all eight competition delegations familiarizing themselves with their venues and making final preparations for the start of competition.

Competition starts in all sports with exception of bocce on Monday.
Most Team Kentucky athletes will begin preliminary competitions; however, Team Kentucky’s three gymnasts will have their first opportunities to medal in tomorrow’s all-around competition.
Three of the four Northern Kentucky athletes on Team Kentucky will be in action today.

Union swimmer Maddie Brinkman opens her USA Games in the 100-yard backstroke preliminary.
Golfer Chris Revay of Fort Mitchell will play his first round in the 9-hole Individual Stroke Play event starting at 11 a.m.
